Parking is restricted at Val Thorens.
Despite the fact that it is now a pedestrian resort, brief stops at your accommodation
to leave your luggage are authorized. Afterwards, however, you will be expected to take
your vehicle to one of the resort's car parks, where you will be welcomed 24 hours a day
by the VALTHOPARC team who look after nearly 3500 parking spaces in Val Thorens.
This is a necessity for all resorts, which, like Val Thorens,
can be subject to extreme climatic conditions. On the other hand, skiers and pedestrians
are able to enjoy more freedom o f movement ...and benefit from the unpolluted air!
Please note that a free shuttle
service is at your disposal to take you back to your accommodation once your
vehicle has been parked in one of the VALTHOPARC car parks.
